Birth is one of the last mystical and deeply spiritual events in our modern, institutionalised life. The moment the universe hold it's breath to exhale and expel a new soul hearthside. It couldn't be further from a linear, or planable event.
Acknowledging the uncertainty which comes with birth woman can and SHOULD certainly voice wishes and desires. We spend days, weeks, months to plan a wedding and we're not shy to spend a fortune on it. Knowing from myself and having accompanied woman through their Mettamorphosis into Motherhood I would like to encourage you to sit down and flush out the scenery that gets your ANS (autonomic nervous system) to light up and wrap you in a warm blanket of emotional comfort. However that might look for you.
Let me share with you here how this looked for me and may it inspire you to write your own, being true to who you are and what you like and how you feel held and respected and listened to and loved and beautiful and all the good things which help you to let go and surrender into the flow of life.
How Ina May Gaskin states: "As the baby comes in, the baby comes out" the scenery might look and feel similar to how you like to intimately come together with your partner...
